Well, that’s what I think anyway!! Tuesday’s edition of America’s Got Talent put our dear Jessica against 9 other performers. Of course, this week we are moving from 10 acts, down to 5. It looks to me like the Wright Kids, Kaetlyn Mairs, Sinatra guy, and one or two others are sure to be taken out this week. My math skills tells me that Jessica is a sure shot for a top 5 spot!! Her rendition of Sarah McLachlan’s “In the Arms of an Angel” was MUCH better than last weeks performance. I’ll be honest, Jessica’s guitarless performance puzzled me a bit but I really liked it. It was obvious that the audience and the judges loved it as well. Let’s hope my math skills hold up and Jessica makes it to the Top 5.

I agree that Jessica’s performance was awesome. I don’t think she could have done any better really.
As much as I want her to win, I’m afraid she’s a real outside shot of making the top 5. Take a look at my America’s Got Talent Top 10 poll and you’ll see why I’m afraid for her. I hope that you’re right and Kaitlyn doesn’t have a chance, but a lot of people really like watching her.
I should mention that in that poll the numbers are a little bloated, because my site has been innundated with Donald Braswell fans. Let’s hope my poll is dead wrong.
Here’s what I think, it’s about time that she’s without
her guitar. She can finally move her hands a bit and use
some expression without being tied to her guitar, altho’
she still stood still by the microphone.
She did an amazing job on the song, and was finally able
to do something that really fit her and her talent.
I’d still like to see her be allowed to really rip a fast moving song and show off her voice even more.

America finally got to see what we’ve seen during Worship!
With “Arms of an Angel” Jessica proved she has a beautiful and strong voice. When she holds a note, you notice it is true; there is no quivering in its tone. She sings her songs with very little back-up,some of the other top ten acts are surrounded with elaborate sets and support. Jessica could have sung that song with just her and the microphone and still brought a tear to Haselhoff’s eye.
This performance was much more like the Jessica we know and love. She was great! However, it is still going to be VERY close.
Eli, Emily, Neal, Nuttin’ But Stringz, and Donald (for whatever reason) seem to have very large fan bases. Also, there are some strange people out there who keep voting for Kaitlyn. It will be interesting tonight!!
Jessica was the most genuine person on this show. I was rooting for top ten, but never saw her in Vegas. I don’t think it suits her. She is a raw talent with alot of potential if someone would just work with her professionally. The emotion she puts in her voice made me, a 46 year-old man, bawl like a baby. I’m gonna go hug my kids.
Well I must say I was disapointed, about Jessica being left out of last nights Top Five Picks(I think that Donald is a highly trained singer, and that Nuttin but Sringsz only play different variations of the same musical cords). Jessica is a class act, and has a voice that is uniquely her own(she doesn’t try to emulate anyone)she is not hard on the eyes either. Her rendition of “Arms of an Angel” was beautifully performed.I hope that her appearance on the show will open some doors. She can’t quit, because she is unmistakably a diamond in the rough.
I don’t know if Jessica reads this or not – but please, dear… get some vocal training and learn to breathe through your diaphram and not through your nose and learn about phrasing. You could be a knockout star quality singer with a little polishing up.
I couldn’t help noticing that mine and everyone elses votes were ignored. It’s obvious that NBC announced the top five without consulting the votes. How could they? The performers were in the same outfits that they allegedly wore the night before and even the audience and judges were wearing the same clothes. NBC is a liar. Votes had nothing to do with the selection of the top five and it was obviously a matter of political correctness and racism. Jessica Price was clearly the best talent. The emotion and power of her fantastic singing voice cut right through me even though it was coming through a cheap television speaker. Hope to see Jessica’s album soon.
I agree with #8 “A concerned listener”. Correct the breathing issue, pickup some professional tips through vocal training, and Jessicas IT. Neil’s rendition of “All By Myself” may have ended like Pier’s said “a volcano” but, the first half of his song was rather poor.
Remember the entertainer Bobby Darin? He would never have filled yankee stadium yet, was considered one of the greatest entertainers of his era. Why? because, Bobby Darin had class, just like Jessica Price, and class is not always recognized by the masses, that may help explain some of the screwy voting.

I agree with Concerned Listener as well. If Jessica chooses the right people around her and has some vocal lessons to help the breathing, the sky is the limit. Although, I wish I could agree with Neil’s conspiracy theory, I have friends who were in the audience both Wednesday and Thursday nights. All along the show has had the contestants wear the same clothing for the peformance and results nights. Maybe they wanted to save on wardrobe costs?
Jessica got the major exposure she needed. I do not think she really wanted to be known as the winner of AGT (it is a bit of a freak show) throughout her career. As for the money, she can make millions not a million and she will be able to perform in Vegas if she wants to, not because she is obligated.
